Summary

Join Versapay as a Sales Support Application Specialist and contribute to the company's success by ensuring efficient onboarding of new customers. You will play a key role in gathering necessary documents for underwriting, guiding sales representatives on best practices, and streamlining the onboarding process. This position involves inputting data, documenting processes, identifying areas for improvement, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks. You will also work with underwriters to approve new accounts and maintain accurate information in Salesforce. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of experience in sales, tech, or product support, along with experience in a Merchant Services environment. A strong problem-solving aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in sales, tech, or product support
  • 2+ years experience working in a Merchant Services environment
  • You’re hungry to learn about how sales departments work and aren’t afraid to do admin work to get the knowledge and the experience
  • You can hold your own talking to anyone in an organization – be it the receptionist or the CEO
  • You pay attention to the details. As far as you’re concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing right, every single time. You stay focused and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
  • You love solving problems! There is not a challenge that you have come across – at work or at home - that doesn’t make you want to dig in and figure it out

Responsibilities

  • Input statements into the quoting system and continue to unify the quoting process
  • Document existing processes and create templates to help increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team
  • Enter data into external databases for submitting complete application package
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, put together suggestions, present to the team and bring them to completion
  • Assist the sales team with a variety of administrative tasks and, in the process, learning about all of the aspects of what they do daily
  • Assist merchants in completing application paperwork, and work with underwriters to push new accounts forward to approval
  • Keep opportunities, assets and tasks in Salesforce up to date with current statuses and account underwriting notes
  • Complete and close out opportunities/assets/tasks in a timely manner – meeting deadlines for account setups, and checking fees before end of month
  • Effectively work with other departments, such as Relationship Management and Integrations, as needed to complete tasks related to bringing new accounts live
  • Stay informed using Slack, Salesforce, email, company announcements, utilizing external and internal training resources, etc., and asking questions when needed
  • Always be a team player and help teammates with assigned work when time permits, when there is an urgent need, or when someone needs time off

Benefits

  • $45,000 - $55,000 a year
  • OTE Ranges between $50-60K USD with commission factored in
