Summary

Join our IT Finance Department in Portugal as an Application Support Engineer! You'll manage the procurement management ecosystem using Scoops and Skipper applications, ensuring optimal performance and operational monitoring. Responsibilities include risk assessment, meeting deadlines, resource identification, solution development and validation, and documentation updates. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, improve processes, and contribute to a positive team environment. This role requires a relevant university degree, 3+ years of experience, and expertise in application support, purchasing, and specific tools. Travel within and outside Portugal is required, with remote and hybrid work options available.

Requirements

  • University graduation on IT related field
  • At least 3+ years of experience in similar position
  • Purchasing and management control experience
  • Experienced in Application production run support, acting as Technical Leader
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain collaborative work relationships at all levels, namely
  • Meetings managements
  • Publicly present, explain and learn business matters
  • Produce and follow up meeting’s outcomes and inputs (meeting minutes, requests, business analysis, etc.)
  • Incident management
  • Tools: Service Now, Jira Lanta, Oracle with PL SQL knowledge (advanced level), PowerBI knowledge will be a plus
  • French (B2)

Responsibilities

  • Assess the risks that may arise during your work and on the scope of responsibility
  • Guarantee the objectives and the deadlines of deliveries by guaranteeing the respect of the SLAs and its regression testing within the pre-determined test coverage ratio
  • Identify and request essential resources
  • Develop the functional or technical macro-solution (depending on its field) by seeking, if necessary, the necessary resources and expertise
  • Validate the solution, the functional or technical hypotheses (depending on its field)
  • Guarantee the updating of deliverables specific to the operation of the RUN according to norms and standards
  • Be an actor in the rise of his skills (functional and technical) on your perimeter (new project, extension perimeter, etc.)
  • Manage or participate in meetings and committees related to its scope of intervention
  • You guarantee communication to the various stakeholders at the frequency defined with customers (business lines and manager)
  • Organize documentation/knowledge base of the solutions within his scope
  • Keep it updated with the most FAQ from our clients and Bug fixing information
  • Prepare technical documentation
  • Continuous improvement approach, reducing the incidents
  • Challenge the team and share ideas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous background as a Technical Leader on software development
  • Knowledge of Purchasing Software, e.g., Ivalua
  • Experience with Oracle DB
  • Experience with test tools and frameworks
