Requirements

• 3+ years of experience (post-BS/MS) in an engineering role
• Experience with shipping a scaled and impactful product powered by machine learning: how to use offline datasets, online experiments, and recent research to build simple and high performance systems
• Track record of shipping reliable products and a strong attention to detail
• Experience building backend platforms that can support multiple product lines

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy AI/ML models to automate and enhance permitting workflows
• Work with structured and unstructured data, leveraging NLP, computer vision, and LLMs to extract insights
• Build scalable AI-powered APIs and integrate models into production systems
• Optimize AI inference pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to identify AI-driven solutions to business challenges
• Stay up to date with advancements in AI/ML and recommend best practices for adoption
• Ensure compliance with AI ethics, security, and privacy guidelines

Preferred Qualifications
