Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Architecture or related field
- 8–10 years in architectural project management, 5+ years leading design teams
- 4+ years drafting experience
- Licensed Architect or ability to obtain licensure within one year
- Strong AutoCAD skills required; Revit and 3D rendering preferred
- Experience in Public Works marketing and projects
- Project experience with Mixed Use, Grocery, Retail, Restaurants, General Commercial, Public Works, and facility remodels
- Working knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and zoning
- Proven leadership in managing teams and delivering multiple projects concurrently
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client/job sites or TAIT offices
- Occasionally lift plan sets (1–20 lbs)
- Willingness to travel occasionally with notice
Responsibilities
- Lead overall design quality, project implementation, and delivery
- Coordinate site planning, engineering, and interior design to execute architectural concepts
- Define and guide project design intent from schematic design through construction administration
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, ADA requirements and standards for construction document production
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance to the team
- Direct project phases including setup, design development, construction documents, and problem-solving
- Conduct and document site surveys; collect field data for accurate floor and ceiling plans, elevations, details, etc
- Manage consultant coordination and day-to-day construction administration; maintain documentation, schedules, and communication
- Prepare client presentations, technical details, and construction documents
- Process submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings
- Represent the company in high-visibility client interactions and marketing efforts for public works and K-12 projects
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office; LEED accreditation a plus
