Summary
Join Marley, a leading UK roofing company, as an Area Sales Manager, working from your home office and covering a specified patch. You will be responsible for selling solutions, developing new business opportunities, and nurturing existing relationships with customers. The role involves proactively identifying projects, negotiating business plans, and achieving regional sales targets. You will need to be a commercial thinker with a passion for sales and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. A car allowance, sales bonus, and other benefits are included. Requirements
- Be a commercial thinker with a flair for sales

- Have a passion for your customers, ensuring they are at the heart of all you do
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to achieve targets through planning, analysis, strategic implementation, and commercial acumen
- Possess excellent organizational skills
- Have the ability to support, influence, and enthuse
- Possess energy, with a clear ambition to progress and a passion for learning
- Have experience in external sales
- Live on patch and have a UK driving license
- Be willing to travel within the patch
- Own your own car
Responsibilities
- Sell solutions and add value utilizing innovative products
- Ensure existing relationships are nurtured and develop new business opportunities
- Proactively identify, influence, and deliver a strong pipeline of projects with specifiers and contractors
- Negotiate, develop, and implement specific business plans to achieve regional sales targets
- Promote early pre-tender engagement
- Prepare and present project-related value propositions and solutions
- Attend regular meetings across your region
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts to support planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Specification or Technical Sales
- Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to develop value-added presentations
