Art Director

Summary

Join Booē, an innovative brand, as a highly conceptual Art Director for a project-based role with potential for an ongoing contract. This role involves developing compelling visual campaign concepts for paid social media and video production. You will collaborate with the copywriter and marketing team, creating high-quality static and dynamic design assets. The initial project focuses on campaign development and video production (3-4 weeks, 40-60 hours total), with a strong possibility of continued work at ~10 hours/week. The position is remote with an immediate start date and offers an hourly rate of $55-65. This is an opportunity to shape a growing brand's visual identity and work in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of art direction experience with a portfolio showcasing strong conceptual work
• Exceptional design execution skills to deliver high-quality assets
• Experience with both static design (social media assets) and dynamic content (video)
• Strategic thinking with the ability to provide thoughtful rationale for design decisions
• Proven experience in paid social, primarily Meta platforms
• Experience in product marketing and video production
• Excellent collaboration skills and a creative problem-solving approach
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling visual campaign concepts with strategic rationale
• Create high-quality static design assets for social media
• Direct dynamic content including video production (motion graphics/animation a plus)
• Establish repeatable design elements that create consistency across channels
• Workshop creative ideas in a collaborative environment
• Potentially oversee vendors like photographers for future product and location shoots

Preferred Qualifications

• Web design experience
• Experience in e-commerce or CPG
• Experience with Figma, After Effects, and Canva
• Familiarity with Asana project management
