Join Voldex, a leading Roblox game studio, as an Art Lead for Brookhaven, Roblox's most popular game. You will own Brookhaven's art direction, ensuring high-performance assets maintain the game's unique style. Lead and mentor a team of artists, providing direction and feedback. Develop and maintain art-production pipelines. Review team work to ensure quality and alignment with artistic vision and technical requirements. Contribute to building 3D art assets. Address artistic challenges and manage workloads. This role requires deep understanding of Roblox platform asset performance and proficiency in Roblox Studio.

Requirements

• A deep understanding of asset performance metrics and methodologies on the Roblox platform
• High proficiency in Roblox Studio and substantial experience on the Roblox platform
• Experience creating art assets under strict performance constraints while maintaining a clear, visually appealing style
• Experience collaborating with game designers and product teams to understand art request details and flag risks or needs for additional information
• Proven ability to own a game’s art direction and mentor a team of artists toward a consistent execution of that style or direction
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a diverse team of artists
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com , Asana, JIRA, or similar applications

Responsibilities

• Contribute a consistent allocation of time to building out 3D art assets for the game (housing, props, tools, etc)
• Address artistic challenges, manage art-team workloads, and ensure art assets are delivered on time, efficiently, and within the technical performance budget
• Lead, manage, and mentor a small team of artists, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and fostering a positive, creative work environment
• Lead Brookhaven’s game style and art direction
• Supervise both 2D and 3D artists
• Develop and maintain art-production pipelines, processes, and documentation to ensure efficient asset creation and implementation
• Review and provide feedback on the team’s work, ensuring assets meet quality standards and align with the artistic vision and technical requirements of the project
