Summary

Join our Data team as an Assistant Data Analyst and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data systems. You will be responsible for data entry, maintenance, analysis, and reporting, utilizing advanced skills in Google Workspace and Power BI. This role involves creating reports, automating dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with various departments and contribute to process improvements. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, along with experience in data management and analysis. This position requires proficiency in Google Sheets and Power BI, and a detail-oriented approach to data handling.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in data management or analysis, MUST BE IN supporting data driven functions
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis; strong experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
  • Skilled in Google Workspace tools for collaboration and documentation
  • Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills to provide timely updates, collaborate on schedules, and support the wider Data Team
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update data into the company’s systems according to established protocols
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data entries, adhering to quality standards
  • Assist in analyzing data sets to identify trends and generate reports using Google Sheets and Power BI
  • Support the creation of automated reports and dashboards that clearly present findings
  • Follow strict protocols to protect data from unauthorized access or breaches
  • Maintain detailed records of data processes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
  • Work under the guidance of the Data Analyst and collaborate with other departments to meet data needs and ensure seamless system integration
  • Address basic data-related issues, escalating complex problems to the Data Analyst as necessary
  • Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data handling and analysis
  • Provide basic training and support on data entry procedures and database usage as directed by the Data Analyst

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must be proficient in Google Sheets, Power BI, and automation of reports and dashboards
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to meet data needs and business objectives
  • Proven ability to streamline and improve data processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
  • High accuracy in data handling, with a focus on quality and integrity of information
  • Eager to adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve data analysis and reporting processes
