Requirements

  • Ability to evaluate customer financial needs and provide customized financing solutions
  • Expertise in developing sales teams and driving sales performance
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
  • 5–7 years of sales experience in the Equipment Finance Industry, with 2–5 years of Sales Leadership Experience
  • A background in the Equipment Finance Industry
  • Familiarity with financial concepts, including the Time Value of Money, present value theory, credit evaluation, and lease structuring

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Equipment Finance Sales Professionals
  • Oversee vendor and customer relationships, including lease transactions
  • Act as a "Player Coach," mentoring and training sales professionals while also contributing to direct sales efforts
  • Prospect and develop new and existing vendor and end-user customer relationships
  • Analyze customer financial information to recommend tailored financing solutions
  • Collaborate with small and mid-sized vendors and end users to secure optimal financing solutions
  • Conduct financing sales training through meetings, calls, and events such as tradeshows
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with senior management and operational contacts
  • Work closely with vendors and customers to enhance and optimize financing programs
  • Represent the company at national trade shows as needed
  • Ensure new financing programs are well-communicated and implemented effectively
  • Partner with management and support teams to achieve defined objectives
  • Resolve issues and provide troubleshooting support as required

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
