Join CleverTap as an Associate - Accounts payable (Maker) and assist in processing and recording of all accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely payments while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in accounting or finance. (preferably in CA office)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
• Proficient in using accounting software/systems (e.g., Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective customer interactions
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization
• Enter invoice details into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure proper deduction of TDS, claiming of GST ITC & related compliances
• Match invoices with purchase orders, contracts and ensure proper documentation
• Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Assist in weekly & monthly payment batches for approval by senior accounts payable staff
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise
• Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
