Summary

Join BDA, a top global Merchandise Agency, as an innovative and passionate Development Manager. The ideal candidate will build new capabilities for our Enterprise Systems ecosystem, foster a vibrant Engineering and Dev Ops team, and manage a team of functional analysts and developers.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of application software used to configure, analyze, update, and monitor programming rules and functions
  • Experience with developing EBS solutions using various standard EBS interfaces like Auto invoice, Lock box, Customer Master, GL interface, Budget uploads
  • Experience and knowledge of Procure to Pay business process and modules like Payables, Purchasing, Inventory and Shipping
  • Practical knowledge of Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes (mainly WIP & BOM)
  • Detailed experience with 3rd party software like Vertex, Credit Card processors and their integration with Oracle EBS R12 is a must
  • Mature organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in working with onsite and offshore teams
  • Previous management and strong leadership experience required
  • Self-Starter with proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical aptitude

Responsibilities

  • Manage an onsite, remote and offshore team of functional analysts and developers
  • Oversee all Development and DevOps functions within Enterprise systems
  • Partner with IT and Security to understand capabilities and compliance requirements, participating in vulnerability management/cyber operations activities ensuring the stability and security of BDA’s IT solutions
  • Establish a high-level understanding of existing applications and integrations to understand impacts of actions across departments or systems
  • Participate in requirements analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design
  • Ensure code is clean, performant and scalable
  • Ensure testing is completed and auditable
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code
  • Improve existing software
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
  • Train, coach and grow the maturity of teams, associates and offshore partners
