Join Bremer Whyte Brown & OβMeara, LLP, an award-winning mid-sized law firm, as a Litigation Associate. Gain immediate hands-on experience in various litigation matters, from inception to resolution. Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in civil litigation in a law firm environment
- Be skilled in conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, propounding and responding to discovery, as well as interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel
- Possess exceptional communication and advocacy skills along with a client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes
- Have the desire and/or ability to manage a caseload independently, while also working collaboratively with team members
- Possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Have admission to the State Bar of California
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of litigation matters involving wrongful death, premises liability, personal injury, construction, breach of contract/business disputes, and more
- Handle every aspect of your cases including legal strategy, research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, arguing motions in court, attending mediations, and trial
- Work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations
- Collaborate closely with team members and have the opportunity to be mentored by experienced partners

- Have experience taking and defending depositions, arguing motions and attending mediations
- Have trial experience
