This remote position, ideal for licensed attorneys with at least one year of experience, focuses on client service. Approximately 80% of your time will be dedicated to ensuring clients receive exceptional support and communication. You will review case files, collaborate with supervising attorneys, maintain accurate records, and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations. Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. state
- Minimum of one year of experience practicing law in a law firm
- Prior professional experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, or client-facing roles before attending law school
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of cases
- Compassionate and dedicated to helping others
- Proficiency with video conferencing technology and other relevant software
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely, clear, and empathetic communication throughout the case process
- Review case files, medical summaries, and legal briefs prepared by support staff, making edits as needed
- Collaborate with supervising attorneys on case strategy and development
- Maintain accurate and organized case files
- Stay current on Social Security Disability law and relevant regulations
- Conduct occasional pre-hearing client calls and assist with hearing preparation
- Participate in training and professional development to expand into brief writing and hearing representation over time
- Other duties as assigned
