Associate Attorney

Requirements

• Have experience drafting legal documents, such as pleadings and legal memoranda
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Be willing to take on a heavy workload
• Be currently admitted to practice law in Virginia
• Have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
• Possess strong legal research skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise a heavy & diversified caseload of the Firm’s clients in Virginia
• Communicate with clients regarding their respective matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, review & draft agreements, etc
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims
• Conduct legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law

Preferred Qualifications

• Have multiple-state admission to practice law
• Possess proficiency in LexisNexis
