Associate Backend Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of backend development experience with Python
• Familiarity with modern Python frameworks like Django or Flask
• Understanding of enterprise patterns such as microservices
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an Agile team to build, maintain, and optimize client applications
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and delivery of maintainable code
• Work with DevOps and QA teams to support CI/CD pipelines
• Assist in defining, estimating, and working on user stories
• Communicate effectively in English
• Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to assigned tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to MongoDB or time series databases
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Interest in modern architectural modalities like serverless or event-driven design
• Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes
• Knowledge in Angular
• Passion for learning about innovative applications, including autonomous systems
