Requirements

  • A degree in Game Design, Film Production, Interactive Media, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of camera design principles and methodologies
  • Familiarity with game development tools and software, such as Unity or Unreal Engine
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating engaging and cinematic game experiences
  • A portfolio showcasing your camera design work, including any relevant academic or personal projects

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and implementing camera systems that enhance gameplay, cinematics, and overall player experience
  • Collaborate with senior designers, programmers, and artists to integrate camera systems into the game engine
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas for camera movements, angles, and transitions
  • Support the development of camera design documentation, including flowcharts, shot lists, and technical specifications
  • Conduct playtesting sessions to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in camera design
  • Make adjustments to camera systems based on feedback and testing results, ensuring smooth and immersive player experiences
  • Maintain open communication with team members to ensure alignment on design goals and project timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with camera design tools and software, such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar
  • Knowledge of scripting or programming languages related to game development
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
