Summary

The job is for an Associate DevOps Engineer at Ontic, a company that provides software for corporate and government security professionals. Preferred qualifications include 2-3 years of experience in DevOps, hands-on experience with AWS (GovCloud is a plus), Linux server operation and administration, proficiency in Docker containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code or Configuration Management tools, scripting languages, CI/CD tools, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Kafka, monitoring & logging tools, and networking concepts.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in DevOps
• Experience operating and administering Linux servers
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code or Configuration Management tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, etc

Responsibilities

• Deployment of various infrastructures on Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP
• Server monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting
• Integration of Container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
• Automation using Go, Python or Bash
• CI/CD integration for applications
• Database administration
• Maintain application SLA

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS (GovCloud experience is a plus)
• Proficient in building and running Docker containers
• Kubernetes experience is a plus
• Proficient in at least one scripting language, such as Bash, Python, etc
• Good understanding of networking concepts
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, Github Actions is a plus
• Experience in Mongo, Elasticsearch, Kafka is a plus
• Experience with monitoring & logging tools like Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, or Logstash is a plus
