Summary

Join DEPT® as an Associate Director on our Adtech & Data Strategy team! This remote role, based within 50 miles of San Diego, CA, offers a chance to drive innovation in mobile app advertising. You will leverage your expertise to shape user acquisition strategies and navigate the evolving adtech landscape. Responsibilities include acting as a mobile expert, partnering with stakeholders, leading test channel planning, troubleshooting adtech tools, performing analysis, developing strategies, and evaluating new tools. This position requires 4-6 years of mobile app experience, expertise in mobile measurement, strong analytical and communication skills, and a self-starter mentality. Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in the mobile app space, particularly in user acquisition roles
  • Expertise in mobile measurement methods and familiarity with related dataflows and integrations
  • Comfortable with self-led research and ability to distill complex, technical topics
  • Proficiency in vetting tools and vendors
  • Strong understanding of mobile app business models, platforms, app stores, and industry trends, including privacy policies
  • Strong understanding of mobile KPIs, media buying tactics, and strategies
  • Analytical and innovative thinker with attention to detail and the ability to consider all angles of a situation
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and work independently
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey strategies and results to diverse audiences
  • Self-starter mentality with a track record of setting and achieving goals

Responsibilities

  • Act as a mobile expert, providing guidance to clients and internal teams on user acquisition strategies and technical nuances within the mobile ecosystem
  • Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to clearly understand advertiser challenges, then recommend and implement solutions
  • Lead the planning, strategy, and management of new test channels for user acquisition
  • Troubleshoot and solve strategic challenges related to MMPs and other mobile adtech tools
  • Perform analysis and communicate with vendors to support the mobile ad fraud prevention program
  • Develop strategies in response to industry changes, such as iOS ATT and SKAN
  • Evaluate and recommend new adtech tools for mobile user acquisition programs
  • Document learnings in a technically accurate and easy to reference format
