Summary

The Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships at The ALS Association is responsible for managing and growing existing corporate relationships, prospecting, and aggressively soliciting new partnerships in assigned territory. The role requires a minimum of three to five years of frontline fundraising experience in a non-profit environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university
  • A minimum of three to five years of frontline fundraising experience in a non-profit environment with extensive experience in cold calling, corporate partnership development and a proven track record generating new revenue and successfully managing strategic partnerships
  • Significant relationship building with individuals from diverse backgrounds and styles, and experience working with contacts at all levels of Fortune 500 companies, including presenting to senior-level decision makers

Responsibilities

  • Generates $1+ million annually in corporate revenue and sponsorship
  • In conjunction with territory leadership and staff, collaborate with other members of the home office Development team in reaching or exceeding budgeted revenue goals
  • Manage cultivation and solicitation of a personal portfolio of corporate prospects/partners with a defined revenue goal
  • In conjunction with territory leadership and staff, responsible for execution of Association-wide corporate relations strategy
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned portfolio of corporations, corporate foundations, CEOs, C-Suite executives, and other high impact individuals
  • Collaborate with Territory leadership and staff to build trust and leverage Association assets to initiate innovative ideas and maximize new business opportunities
  • Create comprehensive and dynamic proposals that provide funding to support the full mission and priorities of The ALS Association
  • Effectively articulate the multi-faceted mission of the ALS Association and develop partnerships through a donor-centric approach
  • Build strong partnerships with territory staff to ensure consistent communication, collaboration, and integration with the team
  • Leverage Association wide staff and volunteer leadership connections in pursuit of new corporate revenues
  • Lead account teams to ensure effective management and support of all corporate partnerships
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless partnership execution across multiple program channels

Benefits

  • The ALS Association's pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually
