Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a creative professional, with a focus on design, user experience, and storytelling
- A diverse portfolio which demonstrates in-depth digital design experience, outstanding craft, and strategic thinking, with multiple examples of mobile design
Responsibilities
- Leads, inspires, and motivates teams to create and deliver influential, innovative, best-in-class, customer-centric solutions that drive business goals
- Shapes and directs creative strategy and deliverables from concepts through execution for a variety of digital channels, platforms, and experiences
- Facilitates and oversees discovery and creative activities such as experience strategy development, design workshops, conceptual design, copywriting and art direction, production oversight, and concepting for photoshoots and video production
- Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams and partners closely with clients to establish strategy, and align goals with tactics
- Ensures all creative deliverables align with overarching project goals and strategy, brand guidelines, and accessibility standards
- Oversees quality, consistency, and feasibility of digital design deliverables, ensuring they meet the needs of development and technical teams
- Participates in broader practice and organization efforts related to our teamβs capabilities, growth, culture, and values
- Is a career coach for other XD team members to set and work towards career goals, and help identify training and development needs
- Supports initiatives to up-skill our team in the craft and elevates the quality of our work
- Assists in practice development initiatives and supports team recruiting efforts
- Contributes to new business development and organic growth through solutioning, scoping, and creative concepting
- Consistently shares trends, new methods and tools, and training opportunities
- Participates and/or presents at industry conferences and events and within local design communities
- Contributes to thought leadership such as industry articles and blog posts
- Juggles multiple clients, projects, and tracks of work simultaneously
- Manages time effectively and proactively communicates with project team members
- Proactively manage and prioritize tasks independently, taking ownership of projects from start to finish while adapting to evolving client requirements and priorities
- Maintain clear and open communication across teams and clients, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed as project scopes shift and new opportunities arise
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, readily shifting focus to new initiatives and delivering tailored solutions to meet diverse client needs
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
- Consulting/Agency experience
- Experience mentoring and managing project teams and direct reports
- Experience leading projects with a strong voice for creative and meticulous eye for detail
- Ability to provide creative direction as well as overall leadership support for strategic and account direction
- Experience in estimating, pitching, planning, and staffing work
- Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics programs
- Excellent listener with a passion for human-centered design
