Summary
Join MongoDB's growing legal team as an exceptional employment lawyer! Based remotely or hybrid in the US, you will provide comprehensive employment law advice and support to the Employee Experience team, HR, and the business across AMER. Collaborate with other lawyers on the team, work on employment-related projects, and manage legal risks. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of US employment law experience and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in U.S. employment law, experience in Canada and/or LATAM is a plus
- Proven record of success at a top law firm. Prior in-house experience is not a prerequisite

Responsibilities
- Provide advice and support to our Employee Experience team, HR Business Partners and the business on a broad range of employment issues across AMER (currently Canada, U.S., Mexico, and Brazil) including hiring, terminations, performance management, leaves of absence, investigations, accommodations, reorganisations, and other employment-related matters
- Collaborate with other lawyers on the team with respect to advice and counselling provided to HR and other cross-functional partners
- Work on employment related projects, including internal process reviews, new policy roll-outs and implementation, and training programs
- Draft and edit employment-related documents, correspondence, agreements, processes and policies
- Manage legal risks and provide solutions for resolving employment disputes
- Provide support and strategic advice on employment litigation matters
- Participate in the creation and delivery of training related to employment law matters
- Keep up to date with legislative changes and other employment law developments and advise stakeholders on legal changes and developments
- Build and manage relationships with external counsel
