You will be responsible for Luscii's overall legal risk management, including assessing the impact of legal and regulatory developments, overseeing international contracting, and setting up legal entities in new markets. Requirements

  • You have a law degree (specialization in international law, or corporate law) and a proven track record as Legal Counsel, General Counsel or Risk Manager
  • You are self-driven, easily build internal relationships and quickly learn to know what’s going on inside the company
  • You are excited working for a Holacracy company, where pro-activity, autonomy and responsibility are the main focus
  • You are skillful at prioritizing work, identifying the most important projects for maximum impact. You have experience in a start- or scale-up environment, so you know how to work in a growing company
  • You have experience in an international orientated company with legal affairs in different regions and are able to quickly learn new things
  • You have experience with digital health or SaaS solutions, and enjoy working on projects associated with data, privacy and quality
  • You have legal knowledge on commercial contracting, knows how to communicate Luscii’s legal positioning needs to external (international) experts so that Luscii has a uniform legal position
  • You enjoy defining and perform implementation projects
  • For sure, you are super excited about the future of digital healthcare and you want to make an important contribution
  • English is our primary language, so you're fluent in that language. Next to that, you’re fluent in Dutch too

Responsibilities

  • Overall company risk management, assessing impact assessment of general legal and regulatory developments
  • International contracting, setting up legal entities and for instance, market entries abroad (e.g. into United States, Japan)
  • Scoping and impact assessment of international compliance requirements
  • Stay up to date about what is going on in the world, always knowing the latest legal and compliance developments relevant for digital health
  • Vigilance for our products in the market, and developing stress-testing scenario’s

  • Salary based on knowledge and experience ranging between € 5000 and € 7000 gross per month based on a fulltime workweek (32 hours is fulltime within Luscii)
