Join Abarca as an Associate Network Operations Center Operator and be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related field (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant experience may be considered.)
• 1+ year of experience within a similar role in infrastructure operations and technology or in a customer facing technical support environment
• Experience with implementing, administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers
• Must be willing to travel (15% of time) per year (in state or out of state)
• Availability to work rotating or irregular shifts, including weekends and certain holidays, per business or operational needs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer networks and devices
• Install and manage network security hardware and software
• Monitor and ensure network performance and integrity
• Send out internal and external communications for internal and external events
• Identify and solve any problems that arise with computer networks and systems
• Work effectively with communications service providers (ISPs) and other vendors
• Create and maintain documentation of current network components, processes, and diagrams
