Associate Principal

Summary

The job is for an Associate Principal at TEECOM, a consulting engineering firm specializing in technology systems for buildings. The role involves leading mid to large-size projects, providing technical expertise, making difficult decisions, soliciting client feedback, developing business, and influencing decisions. The individual will also mentor junior staff and participate in the TEECOMuniversity in-house training program.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or equivalent education/experience
• Minimum of six years of discipline (physical security, electronic security systems) design for facilities construction projects
• Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Bluebeam Studio
• Microsoft Suite
• G Suite

Responsibilities

• Lead mid to large-size projects that span multiple disciplines
• Provide detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, and reporting information to the client
• Delegate work effectively, promote teamwork, and mentor less senior staff

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT is a plus
• CDT
• PSP and/or CPP
