Associate Producer

Summary

Join Forgotten Empires, a Keywords Studios game developer, as an Associate Producer to contribute to Age of Empires/Mythology projects. You will leverage your project management expertise to guide game development from pre-production to post-launch. Responsibilities include supporting the Producer, managing project documentation and tools, facilitating team communication, and optimizing workflows. The ideal candidate possesses 1-2+ years of video game development experience, proficiency in project management tools, and strong communication skills. The position requires B2-C1 English proficiency and is based in Málaga, Spain, or remotely within the UK/EU. Forgotten Empires offers competitive employment packages.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of experience in video game development
• Proficiency with multiple project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira and/or Trello
• Strong communication, multi-tasking, documentation and organization skills
• B2-C1 English level – conversational and written
• Must be local to Málaga, Spain or working remotely in UK/EU (EU time zones required)

Responsibilities

• Support Producer to help drive the development of a game title from pre-production to final product release, as well as post launch support
• Assist in maintaining project management documents including status reports, project plans, post-mortems and historical information
• Schedule and facilitate weekly stand ups and internal meetings
• Manage project tracking tools and assist with maintaining schedules, milestones and deadlines
• Facilitate the communication within the team and assist the Producer in improving workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Shipped a title in a production/project management capacity
• Experience with live game support
• PMP, CSM or CAPM certification
• Strong passion for Age of Empires/Mythology franchise
