Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture (additional experience in food manufacturing can substitute for a degree)
  • Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing
  • Proficiency in engineering design principles
  • Advanced AutoCAD skills with attention to detail and the ability to conceptualize designs
  • Familiarity with P&ID and GA layouts
  • Strong learning agility and flexibility
  • Ability to travel extensively and adapt to a demanding schedule
  • Must work Eastern Time Zone hours when remote

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain detailed technical drawings for equipment, materials, workflows, and processes across multiple production facilities
  • Analyze schematics and blueprints, ensuring compliance with company standards and quality regulations
  • Collaborate with engineering teams during project meetings to review designs, assist with equipment/material selection, and align on project goals
  • Develop and manage a robust technical documentation system
  • Support project managers and senior engineers in the development and execution of capital projects, including facility, equipment, and production system maintenance
  • Address operational challenges such as energy utilization, environmental considerations, and Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Participate in capital planning, project deployment, and management initiatives
