Requirements

• 3+ years of recent experience in Ruby on Rails development
• Proven experience in Ruby on Rails and React development
• Familiarity with RSpec and test-driven development (TDD)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, specifically GitHub
• Experience in designing and developing Ruby backend APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Passion for best design and coding practices
• Drive for continuous learning and development
• Strong spoken and written English skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Integrate with front-end components using React
• Write and maintain clean, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
• Design and develop API endpoints for mobile and web consumption
• Implement and maintain a rigorous test environment with RSpec and TDD practices
• Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration
• Proactively identify and rectify bugs and performance bottlenecks
• Provide technical support for production systems, when necessary
• Continuously learn and implement best practices in web development

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in the healthcare industry is an added advantage
