Associate Software Engineer

Summary

Join Feedzai's Customer Success Engineering Team as a Software Engineer and ensure seamless product installation and client requirement fulfillment. You will work with diverse technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google), and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka). Responsibilities include developing custom Java interfaces, utilizing web services, and creating extensions for the Fraud Analysis platform. Collaboration with data scientists, project managers, and fraud analysts is key to understanding client needs and executing on requirements. The role involves the full software development life cycle, troubleshooting, debugging, and deploying systems. Client engagement and excellent communication skills are essential.

Requirements

• A BS or MS in computer science, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in Java software development or other modern language
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Client engagement experience and ability to work with a client in a consultative manner
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Availability to travel up to 15%

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle building integrations and enhancements to Feedzai core product
• Write well-designed, testable code
• Integrate multiple software components into a fully functional software system
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Deploy and support systems in production
• Comply with best practices and industry standards
• Work with Agile principles to regularly deliver quality products
• Ensure proper feature deployment or product upgrades
• Provide Second Tier support for clients that are live
• Other duties as needed
