Summary

Join our team and help transform public sector procurement and contracting using AI! As a Software Engineer, you will build, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions, working closely with experienced engineers and researchers. You will integrate the latest AI advancements into our core offering, understand and build core features, and work with your lead to review technical designs. This is a fully remote opportunity offering a flexible work environment and the chance to work on leading-edge AI with abundant compute resources. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with AI/ML concepts, data structures, algorithms, and Typescript/JS and Vue. Requirements

  • Exposure to AI/Machine Learning concepts through academic projects, internships, or coursework
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
  • Familiarity working with Typescript/JS and Vue
  • Demonstrable problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong dedication with emerging ability to work in a low-process, high-ownership environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Build out our core offering by working closely with our Architects and Senior Engineers on the team, integrating the latest and greatest advances in artificial intelligence
  • Understand the core features that need to be built by working with your lead
  • Work with your lead to review the tech design of the features assigned
  • Plan, implement, and unit-test product features assigned
  • Write clean, scalable and well-documented code following best practices
  • Advocate for new lines of effort and bring ideas to the table
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous learning initiatives
  • Create documentation, demos, diagrams, etc
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI, ML and software engineering trends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or project experience in AI/ML or data science
  • Familiarity with Python, Java or C++ and full stack development
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, Docker or containerized environments
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
