Summary
Join our team as an ATG Architect to lead the design and development of Oracle ATG-based eCommerce platforms. You will leverage your deep expertise in ATG frameworks and problem-solving skills to guide cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include defining technical strategy, collaborating with various teams, providing technical leadership, and ensuring adherence to best practices. You will also work with stakeholders to define architecture standards and evaluate new technologies. Success in this role requires 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 5 years with Oracle ATG Commerce. A strong understanding of ATG components, Java/J2EE, and integration with third-party systems is essential.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in Oracle ATG Commerce
- Deep understanding of ATG components such as BCC, CSC, Personalization, and Publishing
- Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and related technologies
- Experience in integrating ATG with third-party systems like payment gateways, search engines, and CMS
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Oracle ATG-based solutions
- Define technical strategy and roadmap in alignment with business goals
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful solution delivery
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure adherence to best practices
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and document architecture standards and guidelines
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend integration strategies
- Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and security in ATG-based systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle ATG Certification (if any)
- Experience in B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular)
