Summary

The job is for a Remote Lawyer in Latin America who will provide legal advice and representation to clients from home using online platforms. The lawyer will work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining strong client relationships. A law degree, valid license, at least 2 years of experience, proficiency in online tools, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, willingness to travel occasionally, and specific hardware requirements are required. Requirements

• A Law degree from an accredited Law School in your country
• A valid license to practice law
• At least 2 years of experience as a lawyer, preferably in a remote setting
• Proficient in using online platforms and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Willingness to travel occasionally, as required by the cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
• Willing to work on the Pacific Standard Time schedule
• Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above) with an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations
• Conduct thorough and accurate legal research
• Draft, review, and edit various legal documents
• Represent clients in civil and criminal court proceedings
• Establish and maintain strong and trusting relationships with your clients
• Collect and analyze information and evidence from clients and other parties
• Collaborate with other lawyers and legal professionals
• Perform various administrative tasks
