Requirements

  • Possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Be admitted to the bar in Colorado or Georgia (depending on the position)
  • Have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in transactional law, preferably within the equipment industry or in a related field
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and management
  • Possess excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
  • Exhibit superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Show a collaborative mindset with a commitment to teamwork and client service
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel on transactions related to the equipment industry, including buying, selling, leasing, and financing
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and compliance with applicable laws
  • Advise clients on regulatory requirements, compliance issues, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Manage and resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation as necessary, ensuring effective outcomes for clients
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and deliver tailored legal solutions that align with their needs
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, legal developments, and best practices within the equipment sector to provide informed guidance
