Summary

The job is for a remote freelance Taiwanese language audio description scriptwriter who will write and proofread scripts for film and television content. The candidate must be a native speaker of Taiwanese, have at least 1 year of Audio Description script writing or QC experience, and mastery of Taiwanese written grammar and elements of style.

Requirements

• Mastery of Taiwanese written grammar and elements of style

Responsibilities

• Write and/or proofread Taiwanese audio description narration scripts for film and television content
• Meet deadlines as determined by DVW Project Manager and communicate any issues that could impact the delivery of the script
• Ensure that AD scripts meet DVW's and client's quality standards
• QC/proofread AD scripts by other writers
• Work with other writers in a collaborative team environment
• Participate in occasional meetings, conference calls as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Good English comprehension
• Experience in media production a plus
