Requirements

At least 2-3 years of experience working on an auditor position
Profound knowledge of auditing and accounting literature US GAAP & GAAS
Experience working with financial services industry
Hands on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices
Able to perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with accounting/auditing software and programs e.g., CaseWare
Team building and leadership abilities
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
Have at least Intermediate Excel Skills

Responsibilities

Perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses
Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, allowances, assets, and expenditures
Perform variance analysis and account reconciliations. Understand client environment and assess risks to properly plan and design auditing procedures
