Audit Associate

Summary

Mowery & Schoenfeld, a leading accounting firm, is seeking an audit associate with at least 1 year of experience in public accounting. The role involves working closely with managers and firm leadership to serve clients and build the business, while also managing client engagements and projects. The ideal candidate is a CPA or CPA eligible, with a Bachelor's degree in accounting required, and a Master's or advanced degree desired.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required, Masters or advanced degree desired
• CPA eligibility required, CPA desired
• At least 1 year of experience in public accounting
• Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
• Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, see the 'big picture' as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with A&A managers and firm leadership to serve clients and build the business
• Serve as a critical member of engagement teams, organizing and managing client engagements and projects

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred experience within construction, manufacturing/distribution, technology and/or business combination (M&A)
