Automation Engineer

Summary

Join Adaptiq as an Automation Engineer and play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability of Centerity's unified observability and automation solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, backend, and performance testing, taking full ownership of the automation framework. Collaborate with developers, analyze test results, and contribute to faster issue resolution. Maintain clear documentation and advocate for best testing practices. This role requires 2+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer with hands-on Python development and extensive experience with Selenium. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer
• 2+ years of hands-on Python development
• Extensive experience with Selenium
• Strong working knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Solid understanding of SQL (any dialect)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Proven ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, backend, and performance testing to ensure comprehensive product coverage
• Take full ownership of the test automation framework, continuously improving its scalability, maintainability, and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand new features and ensure test coverage from the early stages of development
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and contribute to faster issue resolution
• Maintain clear documentation of test plans, scripts, and automation processes
• Contribute to overall product quality by advocating for best testing practices and participating in code reviews where relevant

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with asynchronous programming and multithreading
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s)
• Understanding of networking concepts
