Summary

Join Softrams, a fast-growing digital services firm in the Washington Metropolitan region, as a senior or lead automation test engineer with over 9 years of experience (preferred over 14). This is a 100% remote, long-term contract opportunity. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder and able to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 8+ years of application development and QA testing experience
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Database testing, data validation and verification (Snowflake and Postgres preferred)
  • Experience with manual and automated regression testing of back-end systems and applications
  • Experience converting/automating spreadsheet-based verification and validation via scala/python/other scripting languages
  • Experience with testing and validating in notebook-based IDEs such as Databricks
  • Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse preferred
  • Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid Claims and claim lines preferred
  • JIRA/TestRail
  • Github

Responsibilities

  • Automate and/or streamline the current analytic model testing process for a fraud prevention system platform
  • Review current model automated quality control (AutoQC) and model testing checklist
  • Convert manual steps to automated processes, including automation of back-end testing
  • Analyze and understand complex business and engineering challenges
  • Understand user needs, and design end-to-end automated quality assurance processes with practical, reliable, and efficient solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • 14+ years of application development and QA testing experience
  • Experience in healthcare industry analytics and data, preferably Medicare or Medicaid
  • AWS certifications
