Summary

Join our Technology Vertical as a QA Engineer (Intermediate) in NZ (Remote) and make a real impact. Reporting to the Software Development Team Lead, you will conduct tests throughout software development, ensuring product quality. You will design, develop, and execute test plans and automated tests. Close collaboration with engineers, product managers, and business analysts is crucial for driving the QA process and contributing improvement ideas. This role is ideal for senior-level QAs or those ready for advancement. Work from home 100% anywhere in NZ is possible.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET and testing frameworks like xUnit or similar tools
  • Previous experience in QA engineering, preferably in microservices environment
  • High level of knowledge in SQL
  • Experience in design, implementation, and execution of test strategies and solutions
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tests throughout all stages of software development to ensure quality of our software products
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases and automated tests to identify defects and ensure that our products meet the required standards
  • Closely working with software engineers, product managers, business analyst to drive the QA process, contributing ideas and process improvement
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tool

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in or a high level of exposure to automation testing
  • Good to have experience with cloud-based technologies like Azure or AWS
