Qa Automation Tester

Summary

Join our team as an Automation Tester for a 12-month contract (with potential extension) based remotely in Frankfurt, Germany. This role requires at least 4 years of experience in test management, design, execution, and reporting using tools like Jira and Confluence. Experience with complex testing projects and various testing methodologies is crucial. The ideal candidate will also possess experience with test automation, databases (e.g., Oracle), and continuous integration. The position involves working with development and test teams and may include coaching and consulting on test frameworks.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of practical experience in test management, standardizing, organizing, and reporting tests (Jira); integrating tests into project plans (Confluence), clearly traceable in the CV from at least 3 projects with complex testing
• At least 4 years of practical experience in test design, modeling tests (Jira), specifying test cases (Confluence), clearly traceable in the CV from at least 3 projects with complex testing
• Practical experience in test execution and documentation (Jira and Confluence), clearly traceable in the CV from at least 3 projects with complex testing
• Practical experience in test reporting and documentation; optimization and automation of test statistics; identification of further test KPIs, clearly traceable in the CV from at least 3 projects with complex testing
• Experience in working in development and test teams (>5 MA), at least 2 proven projects with a complex test are clearly traceable in the CV

Responsibilities

• Manage, standardize, organize, and report tests using Jira
• Integrate tests into project plans using Confluence
• Design and model tests using Jira
• Specify test cases using Confluence
• Execute tests using Jira and document results using Confluence
• Report and document test results
• Optimize and automate test statistics
• Identify further test KPIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience from at least 3 projects with complex tests in the last 4 years in test design, clearly traceable
• Practical experience from at least 2 projects with complex tests in the last 4 years in introducing test frameworks or a test architecture with Coaching and consulting approach, clearly traceable
• Practical experience from at least 2 projects with complex tests in the last 4 years in the use of databases (e.g. Oracle), clearly traceable
• Practical experience from at least 2 projects with complex tests in the last 4 years in test automation, clearly traceable
• Practical experience from at least 2 projects with complex tests in the last 4 years in the area of continuous integration, clearly traceable
• Certification “UML Foundation” (e.g. UML for testers)
