Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an automotive service environment as an Automotive Technician or Service Writer/Advisor
  • Experience using various modern computer systems, software applications, and communication tools
  • Demonstrated experience in resolving conflict and creating customer satisfaction in difficult situations
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; some college education preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to think quickly and independently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Empathetic listening skills, good judgment, and critical thinking to determine when issues should be escalated
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and professional service on phone inquiries while providing information regarding claim processing and coverage
  • Authorize claims and answer a high volume of inbound calls
  • Process and complete all paperwork according to established procedures
  • Perform other job duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience in an inbound call center or similar environment
  • Some college education
