Autonomous Vehicle Simulation Engineer Intern

You will work closely with experienced members of the Systems Team, learn about various aspects of the autonomous system, and help validate its performance using simulation.

Requirements

• Undergraduate in Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or related fields
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Python
• Passionate about problem-solving
• Self-organised

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining simulation test cases for different autonomous function modules, together with the software development team
• To help validate the accuracy of the scenarios used to validate the autonomous vehicle behaviour
• Conduct scenario-based virtual testing to perform system level verification and validation
• Maintaining simulation metrics
• Issue triaging and debugging to understand simulation results
• Writing test reports to communicate simulation results to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python
• Experience with ROS
• Experience with real world robotics deployment
• Experience with sensor calibration
