Join Cloudsoft as an AWS Cloud Engineer, a customer-facing consultant driving best practices and problem-solving. You will work closely with clients, guiding them through their cloud journey, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills alongside technical expertise. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure; advising clients on cloud optimization; automating infrastructure; developing scripts; guiding customers on security best practices; contributing to team improvement; and creating documentation. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on AWS experience, strong problem-solving abilities, collaborative skills, and knowledge of IaC and cloud security. Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, simple terms
- The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and customers, adapting to different needs and perspectives
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools)
- A strong grasp of cloud security best practices and networking fundamentals
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
- AWS certifications (or a willingness to obtain them—we’ll support your learning!)
- A passion for providing customers with the best experience possible
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure to support customer needs
- Advise and collaborate with clients to optimize their cloud environments using AWS best practices
- Automate infrastructure and workflows using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Develop scripts and automation tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to enhance efficiency
- Guide customers through cloud security, networking, and governance best practice reviews and implement recommended improvements
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge-sharing within our team
- Create clear and precise documentation and hand over to customer’s engineering teams
