Summary
Join T-Rex Solutions as a DevSecOps Engineer to contribute to the US Department of the Treasury's TCloud enterprise cloud development. This role involves operating and maintaining cloud environments, developing automation infrastructure, ensuring observability and resilience, and implementing security policies. You will support the onboarding of new FedRAMP cloud services and utilize your expertise in cloud technologies and security best practices. A Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience (or Master's and 3+ years) are required, along with proven cloud experience. Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelors degree and seven (7) years or more of related experience or Masters and three (3) or more years of related experience
- Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in 4 or more of the following areas: Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
- Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
- CSPs including Azure, AWS, or OCI
- Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
- PowerShell or Bash Scripting
- Security automation with tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
- Cyber toolsΒ Β - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner
- Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
- Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles
- Maintain and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts
- Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments
- Support implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and governance
- Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate or higher certification
- Active Treasury clearance preferred
