Summary

Join T-Rex Solutions as an Azure DevSecOps Engineer and contribute to the Department of Education's cloud transition. You will operate and maintain cloud environments, develop automation infrastructure, and ensure security and resilience. This role requires a US citizenship, a Public Trust clearance, a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience (or Master's and 3+ years), and proven expertise in cloud environments and several specified technologies. Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelors degree and seven (7) years or more of related experience or Masters and three (3) or more years of related experience
  • Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in 4 or more of the following areas: Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
  • Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
  • Azure cloud infrastructure engineering experience
  • Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
  • PowerShell or Bash Scripting
  • Security automation with tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
  • Cyber tools Β - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner
  • Terraform, Ansible
  • Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
  • Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles
  • Maintain and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts
  • Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments
  • Support implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and governance
  • Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking
