Azure Engineer

Requirements

• Minimum of AZ-104: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification is required
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of professional experience implementing and managing solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of core Azure services such as IaaS (VMs, storage, networking), PaaS (App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions), and identity management (Entra ID)
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Azure CLI
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools within Azure (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication1 and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently2 and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage scalable, highly available, and secure systems on Microsoft Azure
• Implement and maintain Azure infrastructure components including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, and Entra ID
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Azure infrastructure and application issues
• Collaborate with operations, development and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
• Contribute to future-state architecture discussions by offering insights on operability, scalability, security, and cost optimization for solutions
• Implement and enforce governance policies and compliance standards
• Stay up to date with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices
