Summary

The job is for a Microsoft Azure Engineer with at least 5 years of experience at Tria Federal. The role involves providing support to ongoing operations of the cloud-based system and working with various teams. The candidate should have strong skills in Microsoft Azure Architecture, knowledge of Agile practices and processes, and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of business strategy and experience in the consulting industry, technical leadership, and/or sales support
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Architecture, including networking strategies and configuration, configuration and management, cost and performance management and monitoring
  • Experience with deployment tools
  • Extensive experience with Active Directory and group policy
  • Experience with SQL and MySQL database and related technologies
  • Knowledge of TFS, Jira, and/or Azure DevOps
  • Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizing skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Experience with Agile practices and processes
  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, manage and maintain day to day activities of Azure environments, respond and address system alerts, notifications
  • Assist with resource provisioning, migration, configurations in Azure
  • Manage cloud networking and security (Firewalls, NSG's, ASG's, WAF's) and monitor the logging of systems
  • Configure and manage Azure Application Gateway (AppGateway) and optimize network traffic
  • Support Azure virtual network (VNET) efforts
  • Create and update Azure Resource manager (ARM) templates
  • Utilize Azure stack (including Compute, Web & Mobile, Blobs, Resource Groups, Azure SQL, Cloud Services, and ARM templates) with focus on high-availability, fault tolerance, and auto-scaling
  • Automate Azure infrastructure management with IAC/CAC tools (including Azure Resource Manager.)
  • Provide 2 nd level support for AWS and Azure issues with computing, network, and storage
  • Compliance with government cloud security and privacy standards through documentation, design, and technical discussion
  • Support the implementation of Azure Active Directory/Entra ID federated identity management solutions to support development, maintenance, and testing efforts
  • Ensure that upgrades, patches, security, and documentation on Azure environments is kept current
  • Provide Azure support off-hours for deployments of applications to environments as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Azure Cloud Solutions Architecture certification (AZ-300, AZ-301, AZ-103, AZ-900)
