Summary

R5 Labs EU is seeking a skilled Java developer with 3+ years of experience as a Back End Developer to join their remote team. The candidate will work on fintech solutions for major American companies, utilizing skills in Java Development, API Development, Microservices Architecture, Version Control, Local Development Environment setup, Database Management, AWS, Play Framework, and SQL Development.

Requirements

• Fluency in spoken and written English
• At least 3 years of experience as a Back End Developer with expertise in Java development
• Strong proficiency in REST, SOAP, and microservices development
• Familiarity with development tools such as IntelliJ, GIT, and BitBucket
• Ability to set up and use a local development server for testing
• Experience with Java 11, Spring Boot, MySQL, and DynamoDB
• Knowledge of Amazon applications like ELB, SQS, SES, SWF, and SNS
• Familiarity with the Play Framework for web application development
• Proficiency in DB2 and Oracle database SQL development

Responsibilities

• Java Development: Create robust and efficient server-side applications
• API Development: Design and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Microservices Architecture: Contribute to the development of microservices architecture
• Version Control: Collaborate effectively with the development team using tools like GIT and BitBucket for version control
• Local Development Environment: Set up and use a local development server
• Database Management: Work with databases, including MySQL and DynamoDB
• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Leverage knowledge of Amazon applications like ELB, SQS, SES, SWF, and SNS to develop cloud-based solutions
• Play Framework: Explore the Play Framework for web application development
• Database SQL Development: Utilize skills in SQL development, including experience with DB2 and Oracle databases
