Summary

Join airSlate's DocHub team as a Ruby on Rails backend developer and contribute to a Google-integrated PDF editor and signature solution. Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable code, collaborating with senior engineers and product managers. Improve code quality through optimization, testing, and bug fixing. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of commercial experience, proficiency in Javascript/Typescript + CSS, Ruby/Rails (or willingness to learn), B2 English, a CS degree, and knowledge of software design, OOP, and SQL. Requirements

  • Commercial experience with 3+ years
  • Javascript/Typescript + CSS
  • Ruby/Rails (or backend developer willing to learn Ruby)
  • Minimum B2 level English proficiency
  • Degree in CS
  • Good knowledge in software design and OOP
  • Knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code
  • Work with senior engineers and product/project managers to build out the backend for new features
  • Improve code quality through constant optimization
  • Optimize performance, write tests, and fix bugs
