Back-end Developer

Summary

Join Alter Solutions, an international IT and Cybersecurity consultancy, for a 1200-day project (initial contract: 220 days) as a fully remote back-end developer. You will develop and integrate applications using Microsoft technologies (Dynamics 365, C#, SharePoint, etc.), implement core business logic, design data storage solutions, and ensure security and scalability. The role requires strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, SQL Server, and .Net programming. You will collaborate with various teams, write technical documentation, and troubleshoot issues. EU nationality is required. The position offers a fully remote work environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of specific expertise in Microsoft Dynamics
• At least 5 years of specific expertise in Microsoft SQL Server
• At least 5 years of specific expertise in .Net programming (Microsoft or .Net Core)
• Proficiency with Microsoft technologies such as Dynamics CRM and PowerApps
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS SQL Server
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Good knowledge of .Net programming
• Knowledge of interoperability technology (SOA, web services, message-oriented middleware, service- oriented bus, event architecture)
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
• Awareness of software development and service methodologies (e.g., Agile)
• Ability to apply high quality standards
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Develop back-end applications with Microsoft technologies (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, C#, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Power Apps, …)
• Integration of corporate reusable solutions (like EUlogin and EUAccess) with Microsoft Dynamics
• Implement core business logic
• Creation of servers and databases for functionality
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Design and develop APIs
• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
• Taking lead on projects, as needed
• Maintenance of code integrity and organisation
• Writing clean, functional code on the back-end
• Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
• Meet both technical and consumer needs
• Write technical documentation
• Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
• Interaction with the business analysts, customers, users, project leaders and the other developers
