Requirements

• Backend Expertise: +4 years of progressing experience in backend with Node.js
• SQL Proficiency: Experience in handling and optimizing SQL views/queries for data transformation and ingestion
• Web Security: An acute awareness and application of web security principles and a proactive, pragmatic approach to addressing security risks
• Testing Mastery: Deep-seated understanding and experience in unit testing practices
• Agile Affinity: Well-versed with Agile/Scrum methodologies, incorporating them seamlessly into project workflows
• Technical Communication: Outstanding capacity to articulate complex technical concepts with clarity
• API Expertise: Proficient in designing APIs tailored for both internal use and third-party integrations
• Modern Architectures: Experience with microservice/serverless architectures, relational/NoSQL databases, and REST API conventions
• Deployment and Version Control: Comfortable working with tools like Git and Bitbucket, and adept at deploying cloud solutions, specifically in AWS

Responsibilities

• Implementation Specialist: Support the engineering team creating new integration files to onboard each client by utilizing existing templates
• System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of tooling, libraries, and frameworks that underpin our platform to ensure secure, maintainable, and deployable code at all times
• Cloud Solutions: Design and build cloud-native solutions, leveraging AWS-managed services like Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and other managed services
• API Architecture: Create and maintain APIs in NodeJS, especially focusing on data troubleshooting and rectification
• Internal Tooling: Develop internal tools, monitoring instrumentation, libraries, and frameworks that enhance the developer experience
• Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards by prioritizing code reviews, thorough testing, and actively seeking peer feedback
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and operations to define and implement system enhancements and understand pain points in the development lifecycle
